Love Island host Maya Jama and Man City footballer Ruben Dias have split up after 18 months.
The celebrity power-couple first began dating in December 2024. They met at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester a month prior and eventually went public on social media in April 2025 after sparking rumours that they were an item.
It’s said Maya and Ruben decided to ended their relationship three weeks ago, just before Maya flew to Inverness to shoot the new series of Celebrity Traitors. According to The Sun, the pair have begun to delete their loved-up snaps taken during their romance.

A representative of Maya Jama confirmed the split when approached for comment by Daily Star.
Maya and the footy ace had even moved into a mansion in Alderley Edge, Cheshire together, with Maya relocating from London. Ruben has been living up North since signing for City.
Back in January, the pair’s £4m masion was burgled by thieves. The break-in occured while Maya was filming Love Island in South Africa and Ruben was at City’s Champions League game against Galatasaray.

Police confirmed they have been investigating the incident. A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “Shortly after 11.10pm on Wednesday 28 January, police received reports of a burglary at an address in Alderley Edge.
“Officers attended and found entry had been made to the property and a number of items had been stolen. Enquiries are currently ongoing.”
The couple were said to be “devastated” by the burglary, and The Sun reported that the couple had subsequently beefed up security at the property.
In March 2025, a month before going public with Ruben, she spoke about her approach to dating. She told The Sun: “I’m such a lover but I am a big leaver as well… I know what makes me happy and I know what I like — and this is no disrespect to anyone I’ve been in a relationship with, but if it’s not that then I will leave it.”
