Hannay was an assistant coach at Cronulla for five seasons before earning his first NRL head coaching job at the Titans.
No matter who you ask, Hannay’s impact at the Titans has been swift. Simply put, it’s an appointment that needs to work given the club has been starved of any sort of success despite boasting strong rosters in recent seasons.
The Sharks meanwhile are again flying under the radar despite two straight preliminary finals.
