Rochester, N.Y. — Rochester went green for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Thousands lined up along East Avenue, despite the cooler, windy conditions, to join the celebrations.
The parade showcased Rochester’s Irish community as well as a number of local organizations.
13WHAM caught up with people who attended the parade.
“I love celebrating, love Rochester,” said Teresa Nicoleti, an attendee at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. “All the girls’ Irish dancing, I love it, give them a lot of credit, they deserve it.”
St. Patrick’s Day is Tuesday, and there are several events around the area to celebrate.
