Live stream: watch Max Verstappen race at the Nürburgring ahead of 24 Hour race

Max Verstappen will race again at the Nürburgring Nordschleife this weekend, in a final preparation before taking on the circuit’s 24-hour race in May. You can watch Saturday’s action in the live stream at the top of this page.

It will be Verstappen’s first competitive drive in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 that he’ll also be racing in the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours, and expectations are high after he won last year in his first GT3 race at the track last year.

English commentary starts at 10.15am BST on Saturday March 21, and the four-hour race begins at 11am.

Verstappen is taking part in the 58th ADAC Barbarossa Prize, the second round of this year’s Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS). The race was moved to this coming weekend so that he could enter after every early round of the initial NLS calendar clashed with Formula 1 grands prix.

The four-time F1 champion will be racing along Dani Juncadella and Jules Gounon who, along with Lucas Auer, will be teaming up again in the Nürburgring 24 Hours on May 16-17.

“The Nürburgring is a special place,” said Verstappen. “There is no other race track quite like it. The 24-hour race at the Nürburgring has been on my bucket list for a long time, so I’m very excited that we can now make it happen.”

This weekend’s NLS round will be used to prepare for the endurance classic, as Verstappen has already passed the requirements to compete.

In September last year, he secured the special license, an effort that began just a week after claiming another victory at the Italian Grand Prix.
