Mild March weather has allowed golf courses in Lethbridge, Alta. to open for the season ahead of traditional times.
Henderson Lake Golf Club has already opened for play, and Paradise Canyon was expected to open today.
CTV News reports tarps were pulled from Paradise Canyon’s greens on Wednesday. Work is still ongoing to clean up fallen branches and twigs in some areas.
Paradise Canyon has set records for early spring openings in three of the past five years. March 8 is the soonest the course has opened for play.
