Lines blocked as ‘communication alarm’ triggers major Heathrow disruption

Passengers are facing disruption on rail services.
Trains to and from Heathrow Airport are affected due to a communication alarm being activated on a train at the airport, National Rail has confirmed.
The incident is affecting both the Elizabeth line and Heathrow Express services.
A spokesperson said: “The communication alarm being activated on a train at Heathrow Airport means that some lines are blocked.

“As a result, trains running to / from Heathrow Airport may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.”
