The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Has a Tickets Update for Wednesday’s BTS Visit

Excitement is through the roof over the return of BTS to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the first time as a group since 2021. And naturally, fans are dying to be there to witness it in person!

How to Watch

Watch The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC weeknights at 11:35/10:35c and next day on Peacock.

All seven BTS members, RM, Jin, SUGA, j‑hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, will be in 30 Rock to tape on Wednesday, March 25. Their interview and first performance will air that night, while a second performance will air on Thursday, March 26. Watch both at 11:35/10:35c on NBC, with the episodes available to stream next-day on Peacock.

The visit marks the first U.S. late night appearance by BTS as a full group since completing their mandatory military service.

For those hoping to secure a spot in the show’s standby line, one of the best ways to score a seat in The Tonight Show‘s live audience, there’s some unfortunate news. That said, you might have *one* more chance to see the group IRL…you’ll want to set your alarm clock.

There are no standby tickets for BTS’ reunion with Jimmy Fallon

If you were hoping to snag a seat by waiting for the green light in a standby line, it’s time to pivot.

In a March 19 post on X (formerly Twitter), the late-night show’s official ticket account confirmed that ticketing for the Wednesday episode is completely locked:

“🚨UPDATE: There will NOT be a standby line for The Tonight Show on Wednesday, March 25th,” the message announced.

In light of the announcement of the standby line being nonexistent on March 25, it’s not all bad news — diehard fans of the K-pop supergroup still have a shot at being part of pop music history.

BTS fans can still join a waitlist for a Tonight Show segment taping

Good news: As of March 24, there is a waitlist for what the show is calling a “Tonight Show Special Segment Taping,” currently open for the March 25 taping. Per 1iota, who handles ticketing for NBC’s late night talk shows, you should know the time is listed at 5:30 a.m. Guess you’ve got to wake up pretty early in the morning to see your favorite K-pop boys. Literally.

As longtime fans of The Tonight Show know, pretaped segments and sketches are a big part of Fallon’s show. Now that the traditional standby line is no longer an option, your best bet to be part of all the BTS-related action on March 25 is to join the waitlist, cross your fingers, and let fate handle the rest.
