Sergio Garcia of Spain smiles on the fifth hole during the second round of the 2025 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club on April 11, 2025 in Augusta, Georgia.
With The Masters Tournament right around the corner, brands are once again tapping into the excitement of one of golf’s most iconic weeks.
From apparel companies like TravisMathew to emerging brands expanding into the golf space, the tournament continues to inspire limited-edition drops that blend performance with seasonal style.
One interesting move this year comes from Bruce Bolt, a company best known for its premium baseball batting gloves. Now, making another venture into golf, the brand has introduced a Masters-inspired release that highlights its roots alongside an evolving identity.
Golfers known to have worked alongside the brand include Masters champion Sergio Garcia. He will see his 27th Masters start at the 2026 tournament.
Bruce Bolt Expands with Masters Release
Bruce Bolt was founded by Bear Mayer. He started the company as a teenager with a simple goal: build a better batting glove. Frustrated by synthetic materials and poor durability, he focused on improvement through the gloves creation and the use of premium leather. Some of his early inspiration came from golf gloves that used Cabretta leather for a superior feel.
That same attention to detail that focuses on finger shape, seams, and wrist construction, quickly set the brand apart in baseball. As Mayer transitioned into golf himself, the expansion felt like a natural progression. The overlap, especially in terms of feel, grip, and precision, gave Bruce Bolt a clear path into golf.
Augusta White Golf Glove Announcement
To mark the 2026 season, Bruce Bolt released the Limited Edition Augusta White Golf Glove. The product is inspired by the traditions of Augusta National.
The design focuses on a classic white base, an homage to the tournament’s iconic look. It also incorporates subtle green accents along the fingers and a strap featuring yellow, green, and red detailing. It’s a nod to Masters week without being overly loud, aligning with golf’s typically understated style.
The glove launched on March 23, priced at $65 for youth and $85 for adults, placing it in the premium category.
A Strategic Expansion
Since entering golf last year, Bruce Bolt has approached the sport with the same detailed product development that built its baseball reputation. Reportedly, the product goes through extensive prototyping and the brand has even collaborated with Garcia to fine-tune the details.
What makes this release notable isn’t just the Masters inspiration, it’s how clearly it shows the brand’s long-term intent. Bruce Bolt isn’t treating golf as a side project. Instead, it is positioning itself as a serious contender in a niche where craftsmanship and feel matter as much as brand recognition.
Bigger Picture
Limited-edition Masters drops have become a seasonal tradition across golf and adjacent sportswear. But for newer brands like Bruce Bolt, they serve the bigger purpose of credibility. Timing the release alongside one of golf’s most prestigious events allows the brand to be introduced to a wider audience.
With this release, Bruce Bolt’s additional golf gear feels like more than just participation. Instead, it’s about finding their own identity in a highly detail-driven and competitive market.
