Starting Pitcher Streamer Ranks Fantasy Baseball: 3/27 & 3/28 & 3/29

Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.
Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.
There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.
There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:
Auto-Start – Just do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.
Probably Start – I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.
Questionable Start – Think of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.
Do Not Start – The reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.
Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.
Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!
There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start”, after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that and it applies to a smaller audience.
As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):
PLV Projections Team Offense Ranking (3/25 Update)
Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! If you have questions about these offense rankings, reach out to Kyle Bland (@blandalytics).
To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.
These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a “PQS” with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.
Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.
(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

Friday 3/27 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Chris Sale vs. KCR – Aces gonna ace.
Cole Ragans @ ATL – Aces gonna ace.
Sandy Alcantara vs. COL – It’s “Rockie Road” for a guy already over 80 pitches in the spring. Sweet.
Cam Schlittler @ SFG – I’m a huge Cam believer and this is a lovely matchup. 94/95 mph cutters are unreal.
George Kirby vs. CLE – Why do I feel weird giving him the AGA tag already? It’s a great matchup, but I question if he has the overwhelming dominance of Sandy and Cam in their respective matchups.
Framber Valdez @ SDP – If Valdez has his curveball, this will be grand.
Kevin Gausman vs. ATH – Not the best matchup, but Gausman is Gausman and you roll him out there.
Probably Starts
Gavin Williams @ SEA – Great matchup, questionable command. I simply don’t know what we’ll see.
Mike Burrows vs. LAA – Burrows’ new slider is a lovely improvement from last year, and the Angels are a paltry lineup.
Emmet Sheehan vs. ARI – I don’t mind facing the Sneks, but I do mind “Dodgeritis” and Sheehan’s huge dips in velocity in the latter innings of his most recent spring outings. This could be a short outing.
Michael King vs. DET – King has been without his crown this spring and despite fantasy managers having little choice but to start him, I wish we could have seen him dominate first.
Robbie Ray vs. NYY – Ray is a “Cherry Bomb”, which means that even against a Yankee offense with significant firepower, he could very well produce across six frames if he’s on point.
Questionable Starts
Ryne Nelson @ LAD – Terrible matchup, but Nelson’s four-seamer has routinely performed regardless of the lineup. I just wish he had reliable secondaries.
Kyle Freeland @ MIA – I know, this feels like a reach, but Freeland has routinely performed in the first week of the season when pitching outside Coors, and the Marlins’ offense instills little fear.
Do Not Starts
Luis Severino @ TOR – Maybe I’m underrating this one, but I fear the Jays’ lineup + Severino’s WBC velocity is surely not going to appear. He won’t be nearly as amped to pitch for the lowly Athletics.
Yusei Kikuchi @ HOU – Kikuchi has a shot to be decent despite my ranking. He also has a high chance of poor ratios, a weaker fastball, and a history of volatility.

Saturday 3/28 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Bryan Woo vs. CLE – Aces gonna ace.
Jacob deGrom @ PHI – Aces gonna ace.
Tyler Glasnow vs. ARI – Aces gonna ace.
Eury Pérez vs. COL – Aces gonna ace.
Kyle Bradish vs. MIN – He should get the “AGA” tag in time, or maybe he’s just a stellar “Holly” and that’s cool too.
Dylan Cease vs. ATH – Alright Cease, you’re flexing a more well-rounded arsenal now. Please actually command it.
Cade Horton vs. WSN – This is a lovely matchup for the young arm. Let’s see the secondaries get whiffs, please.
Aaron Nola vs. TEX – You have Nola, you’re starting Nola. Too bad he needs to face deGrom, though.
Sonny Gray @ CIN – Same with Sonny. He has more innate volatility than we’d like, but he just had a spring start of “I feel at my peak.” You roll with that.
Probably Starts
Joey Cantillo @ SEA – What a wonderful matchup for Cantillo. Please don’t be one of your terrible control nights. Yes, I’d drop him after this one for the Cubs after. I don’t think he’s a must-hold in 12-teamers.
David Peterson vs. PIT – It’s a lovely situation and he’s stretched out.
Will Warren @ SFG – I can see some wanting him higher, especially given the higher win chance with Mahle on the mound. That said, I wonder how long he’ll go + I’m not certain we’ll see Warren pitch much differently than what we saw at the end of last year.
Questionable Starts
Chad Patrick vs. CHW – Patrick isn’t the arm for me – he’s not built to last six frames constantly – and this matchup seems fine for opening Saturday. Get in, get out.
Michael McGreevy vs. TBR – McGreevy gets a weak offense and could cruise to the sixth in the blink of an eye.
Michael Lorenzen @ MIA – It’s the Marlins. It’s not in Coors. It could be fine.
Randy Vásquez vs. DET – He’s throwing harder, but does he have the command we want?
Do Not Starts
Jack Flaherty @ SDP – I see him as a strikeout option if you’re in desperate need of them this weekend. This is a huge ratio risk, though.
Brady Singer vs. BOS – Singer is…meh. If you need a shot at a QS, fine. It’s the same sinker/slider approach as always.
Sean Burke @ MIL – Ehhhh, he has his moments, but the ceiling/floor ratio isn’t in your favor.
Cristian Javier vs. LAA – It’s the Angels, I know. Javier is also two ticks down with worse movement and still having control issues.
Mitch Keller @ NYM – At least he has a chance for six frames? Keller is Keller. Too much risk for not enough reward.
Reid Detmers @ HOU – Detmers will face few LHBs and still isn’t much else than four-seamer/slider.
Taj Bradley @ BAL – I cannot trust him. At all.
Tyler Mahle vs. NYY – This is just so risky, especially with Mahle featuring signs of reduced velocity in the spring.
Eduardo Rodriguez @ LAD – He was able to silence the USA crew for a little bit, why not the Dodgers…? It’s possible.
Jeffrey Springs @ TOR – It’s unlikely to be Sunshine and Rainbows.
Michael Wacha @ ATL – Maybe the changeup can carry him?
Joe Boyle @ STL – I really don’t like Boyle’s control, but it’s the Cardinals in a pitcher’s park. Is he even going to go long enough to make this matter? This is your Project Hail Mary play. GO SEE THE FILM IT’S SO GOOD.
Reynaldo López vs. KCR – He had such a huge velocity drop in his last outing that I simply cannot fathom him looking good in this one.
Miles Mikolas @ CHC – It’s Mikolas. With a questionable team behind him. Against the Cubs.
