A TKO/KO win for McKinney over Nelson is my prediction, mainly because of the power and explosiveness of the former. McKinney likes to have a fast start against his opponents and it works for him, as they are being caught off guard with his rapid attack and aggression.
The only knack on McKinney is he swings wild on his opponents instead of picking his shots well even though he knows that they are hurt. But with the previous loss he had to Chris Duncan, I’m sure McKinney has learned his lesson.
McKinney should also be wary of the power of Nelson, especially the hooks and elbow strikes, which can clip him and potential knock him out. Also, Nelson has great grappling skills, which he can use to counter the striking and aggression of McKinney.

McKinney has been with the UFC since 2021, and in his last five matches, he recorded three wins over Brendon Marotte, Damir Hadzovic, and Viacheslav Borshchev. Esteban Ribovics and Chris Duncan handed him defeats during this period.

Nelson is a UFC veteran who has been with the promotion since 2018. He racked up four wins in his last five bouts, with victories over Blake Bilder, Fernando Padilla, Bill Angelo, and Matt Frevola, but Steve Garcia handed him a defeat.
