Connor Storrie Is Heating Up Criminal Minds: Evolution

Is that a smize or the vacant stare of an unsub?

You know what Heated Rivalry was surprisingly good for? Criminal Minds: Evolution. Connor Storrie is set to appear in the show’s fourth (or 19th, if you count Criminal Minds and CM:E as one long show) season in an as-yet-unspecified role. The Hollywood Reporter dropped the casting coup alongside the news that Criminal Minds had been picked up for a 20th season. Given shooting and release schedules, it seems likely Storrie shot CM:E after Heated Rivalry but before it became a global sensation. Any show that got any member of the cast during that window has to be over the moon right now.
Criminal Minds is a guest-star-heavy show, so Storrie isn’t the only big name getting mentioned today. Future unsubs (or victims — who’s to say?) for the next season include Justin Kirk, Clark Gregg, Jeri Ryan, Rob Yang, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Paul F. Tompkins. Those last two, along with Criminal Minds star Paget Brewster, all had roles on Community, too. That’s a weird overlap résumé-wise. Keep an eye out for other Greendale Human Beings when Criminal Minds: Evolution premieres on Paramount+ May 28.
