Two women handed nationwide pub and hotel bans

The court heard two members of staff had been in the hotel reception at about 11:20 BST last April when the three women came down from the rooms.

The workers were not sure if they were guests at the hotel and after being challenged, 19-year-old McKeown said: “Who do you think you’re talking to bro?”

The receptionist told them they needed to leave but she would let them collect their belongings first.

Jason Spelman, prosecuting, told Poole Magistrates’ Court: “Five minutes later, they all came back down the stairs.”

Spelman read out a witness statement from one of the receptionists recounting how “Sumovskaja started shouting saying I was being rude to them while holding the fire extinguisher”.

The statement continued: “McKeown chipped in saying I tried to touch her inappropriately.

“I noticed she was holding a vodka bottle in her hand and [she] started threatening me with it and said ‘I will punch you’.

“It escalated, I’m not sure why. I retreated against the back wall.”
