Over 2 dozen sue Live Nation, DC over alleged missteps at Stray Kids concert at Nats Park

Nearly 30 people who attended a K-Pop concert at Nationals Park during last year’s heatwave have sued Live Nation, the District of Columbia, and several others for injuries.

The lawsuit filed Monday in D.C. Superior Court accused the Stray Kids concert event organizers of negligence for not having enough water and cooling resources as temperatures neared 100 degrees on June 23, 2025.

Nationals Park officials previously said cooling rooms and misting fans were available and water bottles permitted, but attendees said staff made them throw the water bottles away when they entered.

Those 28 concertgoers, including some from Arizona, Minnesota, and 9 other states and D.C., claim in the suit that the venue price-gouged water purchases while security lines prevented them from finding shade.

Those who attended reportedly began passing out and vomiting due to heat exposure, according to court documents. Pennsylvania woman Victoria Wisor is among those who filed the lawsuit and spoke to 7News’ I-Team Scott Taylor back in November 2025 about her experience.

Six people were hospitalized with heat-related illness during the concert, and the performers ultimately cut the show short.
