The hotel where the FC Barcelona first team gathered ahead of their Liga fixture against Atlético Madrid hosted an emotional meeting between the club’s vice-president, Rafael Yuste, vice-president Josep Cubells, board member responsible for the Social Area, Josep Ignasi Macià, director Joan Solé i Sust, and and members of the Madrid Territorial Association of FC Barcelona Penyes. Specifically, there were representatives from the supporters’ clubs of Torrejón de Ardoz, Alcalá de Henares, Azuqueca de Henares, Guadalajara, Móstoles, Santorcaz and Valdemoro.
The reception took place in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of barcelonismo. Leading the Madrid-based supporters’ clubs were Rafael Corral, president of the Valdemoro PB; Máximo Vega, president of the Santorcaz PB; Juan Carlos Castón, vice-president of the Móstoles PB; Iñaki Blanco, vice-president of the Guadalajara PB; and José Ignacio Martín, vice-president of the Alcalá de Henares PB. In total, the Madrid Territorial Association has 717 registered members.
