Blue Jays select LHP Josh Fleming, designate Voth for assignment

Left-hander Josh Fleming has been selected to the major league roster and will be active for Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the team announced Monday.

In a corresponding move, right-hander Austin Voth has been designated for assignment.

Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi also reported that infielder Tyler Fitzgerald had a locker room in the Blue Jays clubhouse, but the team did not announce a move to add him to the roster.

Fleming has made one appearance in Triple-A Buffalo, allowing one run on three hits while recording three strikeouts in 3.2 innings.

He joined the Blue Jays this past off-season after spending all of 2025 as a reliever in triple-A with the Seattle Mariners. He posted a 4.91 ERA over 84.1 innings while striking out 44.

Voth pitched 2.2 innings in relief against the Chicago White Sox, allowing one run and a walk on three hits while recording one strikeout. The 33-year-old had last pitched in the majors in 2024 with the Seattle Mariners and spent 2025 pitching in Nippon Professional Baseball.
