UFC 327 weigh-in results: One fighter misses weight by same overage on two attempts

MIAMI – MMA Junkie was on scene and reported live from Friday’s UFC 327 fighter weigh-ins.
UFC 327 takes place at Kaseya Center with the entire event set to stream on Paramount+.
Among those who weighed in were former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka (32-5-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC) and Carlos Ulberg (13-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC), who meet in the main event for the vacant 205-pound title. Both men came in under championship weight Ulberg at 204 and Prochazka at 203.
Paulo Costa (15-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) takes on unbeaten light heavyweight Azamat Murzakanov (16-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) in the co-feature. Both men weighed 205 on the nose.
It was a mostly clean session. Keyword: “mostly.” Lightweight Chris Padilla missed the divisional limit by two pounds. He was cleared to cut for another hour but came back and weighed the same, 158 pounds. His prelim bout vs. MarQuel Mederos will proceed, with a 20 percent fine to Padilla for the botch.
