Onyerwere has had an up and down career in ‘The W’. Drafted by the New York Liberty, she was the Rookie of the Year in the 2021 season. Since then, she has struggled to find a permanent role and has bounced around with the Phoenix Mercury and the Chicago Sky.
Last season, Onyerwere averaged 5.8 points per game for the Chicago Sky.
Fun Fact: Michaela was an assistant coach this past season, at her alma mater, UCLA, winning a championship the first year on the bench for the school.
