‘Big Mood’ season 2 review: Nicola Coughlan’s meandering comedy would put anyone in a bad mood

Second outing of the Channel 4 comedy-drama series is short on laughs and lacks momentum

There are few things more likely to freeze the blood than the term ‘comedy-drama’ – or if you prefer, the even more horrible ‘dramedy’.
It usually denotes a strange mutant hybrid that’s neither funny enough to be a comedy nor dramatic enough to be a drama. The only thing likely to induce an even deeper sense of dread is a ‘dark’ comedy-drama/dramedy.
