Two of the four semifinalists in the UEFA Champions League have been determined.
In Tuesday’s matches, Barcelona were looking to overcome a 2-0 deficit as they traveled to face Atlético Madrid, and while the visitors scored two early goals in the first half, it was Diego Simeone’s side that scored an important third goal in their tie to advance 3-2 on aggregate.
Meanwhile, Liverpool also looked to reverse a 2-0 deficit, but it was the defending champions Paris Saint-Germain who added to their aggregate score by winning 2-0 at Anfield to advance to the semifinals.
