Alix Earle And Alex Cooper Feud Explained

A brewing feud between two of the internet’s most famous blondes — who just happen to share a first name — appeared to bubble over earlier this week.
They are former colleagues Alex Cooper, founder and host of the mighty “Call Her Daddy” podcast, and Alix Earle, a famous TikToker and soon-to-be reality star. Earlier this week, Earle reposted a TikTok from another user that compared Cooper an “ambulance chaser” who profits off heartache and failure by interviewing women who’ve endured something traumatic. Cooper has interviewed reality stars Ariana Madix and Rachael Kirkconnell soon after their public breakups.
Once Cooper got word of that, she called out Earle on TikTok, asking her to come clean about the issues she has with her.
“Alix Earle: Hey, girl. The passive-aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things, I gotta call you out here,” Cooper said in a TikTok posted Monday. “You’re gonna need to get specific and just say what you gotta say about me.”
Earle then reposted Cooper’s TikTok and promptly responded, “Okay on it!!” She has yet to make her own TikTok explaining her stance.
The drama between the two reportedly began last year, when Earle left Cooper’s Unwell podcast network. Cooper tapped Earle as the first creator to host her own show under the network in 2023. At the time, Cooper and Earle only had nice things to say about each other, with Cooper calling Earle a “workhorse” who “really just embodied everything that” Cooper “wanted to do.” Earle returned the compliments, calling Cooper her “actual idol” in 2023.
Cooper attempted to clear up rumors about Earle’s departure from Unwell in 2025 with a post on TikTok.
“Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell. Idk why she can’t/what’s going on. Unwell gave her everything back she owns her IP,” Cooper wrote at the time.
Earle has been tight-lipped on what happened, but called the behind-the-scenes of securing her podcast IP a “hot mess.”
Fans are eager to hear Earle’s side of the story, and even celebrities have shared their two cents. Bethenny Frankel, former star of “Real Housewives of New York City,” weighed in, saying from what she could tell, their friendship was all business. Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, which once owned and distributed “Call Her Daddy,” hypothesized that the feud was fueled by jealousy over the Carl’s Jr. Super Bowl commercial Earle starred in — but he later corrected himself, saying that wasn’t true.
