Ohio voters are using a redrawn map in this year’s primaries that made the districts of two Democratic incumbents — Rep. Marcy Kaptur and Rep. Greg Landsman — more favorable to Republicans. Both Democrats hope to hold their battleground seats.
Republican candidates seeking the nomination to challenge Kaptur include Derek Merrin, the GOP nominee last cycle; former Immigration and Customs Enforcement official Madison Sheahan; and state lawmaker Josh Williams, among others.
