WNBA returns to Portland with the Fire’s first preseason game

The Portland Fire made their return to the Rose City in their second and final preseason game against the Los Angeles Sparks.
Ahead of Sunday’s game, the team revealed their court for the 2026 WNBA season labeling it as “The Fire Pit.”
The Fire faced the Sparks who in their roster have WNBA Champion Kelsey Plum and Mountainside High School’s very own, Cameron Brink.

The regular season debut for the Fire will be on May 9th at the Moda Center when they host the Chicago Sky.
The Portland Fire will play 22 games at the Moda Center and 44 games total in their return season to the league.
This is the WNBA’s 30th season.
