The television adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s Off Campus series finally dropped last week and in a matter of days has created an obsession of epidemic proportions. While the entire cast have fans feeling some kind of way, there’s one man specifically that’s sent the internet into meltdown: Stephen Kalyn.
The Canadian-born actor portrays loveable flirt and notorious ladies-man, Dean Heyward Di-Laurentis in the Prime Video series and for those who have read the books, the overwhelming reaction toward Kalyn’s character should come as no surprise.
The favourite MMC of the series is a topic that will always cause debate, but if you ask me, Dean is the only logical choice. He’s flirty, gorgeous, a little bit of a bad boy and yet still has a heart of gold. What more could a woman want?

Stephen Kalyn Movies & TV Shows
Off Campus may seem like a breakout role for the 28-year-old but Kalyn has been acting for years with his first credit dating back to 2018 in a short film called, Child 92.
He’s since become something of a Prime Video fixture: he appeared in the pilot of Amazon’s buzzy Cruel Intentions reboot, played the younger version of Ryan Phillippe’s character in Motorheads, and joined the satirical superhero chaos of Gen V Season 2 as Greg, a fellow God U student.
He also starred opposite Sara Waisglass in the indie thriller Cascade, where his character Vince and a group of teens find themselves dangerously out of their depth after stumbling upon a crashed drug plane.
Does Stephen Kalyn Have A Wife?
It’s only natural you’d be curious as to the actor’s love life. While he does keep his relationship relatively under wraps we do know Kalyn is engaged to long-time partner Victoria Lovatsis. Exactly how long the couple have been together is difficult to determine, some reports suggest 2012 but this is unconfirmed. Based on Lovatsis’ Instagram we can deduce they’ve been dating as far back as 2020.
The couple are engaged with reports revealing Lovatsis first flaunted her diamond ring on her Instagram Stories back in 2024.
During their recent Off Campus press tour, Kalyn referred to Lovatsis as his fiance, revealing she was the one who pushed him to audition for the role of Dean.
“Luckily for me, my fiance has read all the books. So she actually kind of told me about them… When they announced that the show was going to happen, she said, ‘You need to get Dean. That’s you got to get that part. That’s perfect for you,’” he told Pedestrian TV.
He went on: “‘Be the playboy guy who gets all the girls. You sure?’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah, you’re the guy. You got it.’”
