On Wednesday, Bad Bunny rolled out his new collaboration with Zara, Benito Antonio, a 150-piece collection of colorful summer separates and at least one double-breasted suit. To honor the occasion, Bad Bunny posed for a bunch of promotional photos modeling some of the looks. There is much to admire here, but I must respectfully point to the ones where he is posing barefoot on the beach.
In the video ad accompanying the collection’s debut, the story appears to be that Bad Bunny washed ashore on a desolate rock in the middle of the ocean with just a suitcase full of Benito Antonio clothes. He uses these to fashion a patchwork sail for his little boat and carries himself to freedom. We already know Benito loves to show toe, and a little sailing adventure is the perfect excuse to let those piggies be free.
The new collection is the latest development in Bad Bunny’s ongoing Zara collaboration — he wore the brand for his Super Bowl halftime show, and this new barefoot suit is similar in shape to the Zara tuxedo he helped design and wore to the Met Gala. Since his toes simply must be free at all times, maybe we’ve finally found the perfect person to wear those little Chanel half-shoes. Wouldn’t they look great with a teeny-tiny pair of shorts?
