(VOCM News)

There was another drop in the price of gas overnight. The two cent decrease follows an 8-cent reduction the night before. That puts the price at just under $2.00 per litre on the Avalon Peninsula.

Diesel on the island is down by almost 5 cents while in Labrador West it is 6 1/2 cents less expensive.

The Public Utilities Board also reduced the price of furnace oil on the island by 4 cents, and stove oil in Labrador West by 6 cents.

The next scheduled price adjustment comes first thing Tuesday.
