Beth Hepple in Barclays WSL2 Team of the Year

Durham Women midfielder Beth Hepple has been named in the Barclays Women’s Super League 2 Team of the Year!

It’s been another standout year for the long-serving Hepple, who contributed eight goals and four assists across the league campaign.

Her fine form saw her receive the Barclays WSL2 Player of the Month prize for April as well as a nomination for the PFA Player of the Month trophy too.

And now she has been recognised at the WSL Football Awards, having been named in the BWSL2 Team of the Year.

  • Lexi Lloyd-Smith (Bristol City)

Also honoured on the evening were Lucy Watson and Cat Sheppard, who were nominated for Goal of the Season and Save of the Season respectively.
