PlayStation $1 Offer Secures You Some Of PS5’s Biggest Games

While the gaming industry counts its pennies ahead of a huge increase in game prices and hardware that will follow GTA VI and next-gen consoles, PlayStation users can now get a massive catalogue of the platform’s best games for just a dollar.

Rockstar Games will rock the industry when its game releases this November, and PlayStation has already been hiking up its prices to really squeeze the juice out of us.

But while we save up, that leaves the opportunity for PlayStation to take a look at pre-existing titles and drop some huge offers that can tie us over.

Now, one subscription is being offered for just $1 that will put franchises like Star Wars and Mass Effect on your screens.

EA Play offered for $1 on Playstation in June

Despite having its own portfolio of wildly successful games on its own subscription service, PlayStation has joined forces with EA to offer a huge discount on even more titles.

Until June 18, PlayStation users can redeem one month of EA Play access for just $0.99.

The one-month subscription will give you access to the entire roster of past EA titles, from sports games to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the Dead Space remake.

EA

You won’t be able to get your hands on the most recent titles, such as EA Sports FC 26, but there is a massive collection of games to choose from. However, it comes with a warning from Reddit users.

This isn’t the first time that a $1 EA Play offer has been given to PlayStation users, and last time, players were left scrambling to make sure they didn’t lose their games.

If you want to cancel your subscription after the month, players will need to make sure that they don’t download games that they have previously owned through PS Plus, as this creates a conflict in the licenses, and your game will be overwritten.

This issue arose last time the EA Play discount was on, with one user finding that they had once played Mass Effect: Legendary Edition on PlayStation, and decided to try it again through EA. After the month, they went back to PlayStation to redownload the game, only to find that it wasn’t possible.

So, it might be the opportune moment to try a title that you’ve never played before, such as It Takes Two or Need for Speed Unbound.
