Blues defender named in Netherlands World Cup squad | News | Official Site

Jorrel Hato is heading to the 2026 World Cup after the Netherlands confirmed their squad for the tournament.
Our defender is in Ronald Koeman’s 26-man travelling party heading for North America this summer.
Hato, who only turned 20 in March, already has seven senior caps to his name. He made his debut against Gibraltar in 2023 and most recently came off the bench in the Netherlands’ 1-1 friendly draw with Ecuador in the last international break.
It marks another feather in Hato’s cap, with the youngster heading to his second consecutive major tournament, having featured for the Dutch Under-21 side at last summer’s European Championships at that age group.
The Netherlands are in Group F alongside Japan, Sweden and Tunisia. Their first game is against Japan on Sunday 14 June.
