Blue Jays re-acquire RHP Connor Seabold in trade with Tigers

A familiar face is returning to Toronto.
The Blue Jays acquired right-hander Connor Seabold in a trade with the Detroit Tigers for left-hander Juanmi Vasquez, the team announced Wednesday.
In a corresponding move, the Blue Jays transferred the injured Jose Berríos to the 60-day injured list.
Seabold initially signed a minor-league deal with Toronto in January, but the team released him just before the regular season. The Tigers scooped him up on waivers.
The 30-year-old has made 11 appearances with Detroit this season, putting up a 3.45 ERA with 14 strikeouts.
Vasquez, 22, has made 12 appearances with high-A Vancouver this season, posting a 5.87 ERA and striking out 35 batters over 23 innings pitched.
