Since having his six-fight winning streak snapped and losing two in a row, Pavlovich (20-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) is trending up again after back-to-back wins over Jairzinho Rozenstruik and most recently Waldo Cortes-Acosta last August. However, neither win was a finish.
Teixeira (9-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) has a chance to quickly make himself a potential heavyweight title challenger if he can stop Pavlovich. Teixeira is coming off a unanimous decsision win over Tai Tuivasa this past January.

Filling out the main card is a heavyweight showdown between Sergei Pavlovich and Tallison Teixeira.
Despite desperately needing a step back in competition, the UFC matchmakers saw fit to pair Teixeira up with one of the few class heavyweights that the organization has to offer in Pavlovich.
Bearing the resemblance of an industrial-sized refrigerator with humungous arms attached, Pavlovich is one of the most powerful punchers in the weight class. To Teixeira’s credit, he has been training with Alex Pereira and company before this (which I believe is an overall improvement for the young Brazilian).
Still, I’m not sure it will be enough to stop a more experienced and sound puncher who can punish Teixeira’s resets and retreats.
