Champions Parade: What you need to know

We are excited to share with our supporters and community further details of our Champions Parade, taking place on Sunday 31 May, starting from 2pm.
It’s been an unforgettable week for all of us, winning the Premier League title and lifting the trophy in front of our supporters at Selhurst Park. We cannot wait to bring our Arsenal family together across the streets of Islington, marking this historic moment as one in north London.
We are delighted to confirm that our parade will include both our men’s and women’s teams, celebrating our Premier League title, our FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, and a possible men’s UEFA Champions League win.
We’d love to see all our supporters come together for a unique and special moment for our club and community. We are anticipating a huge turnout, and the safety and well-being of all our supporters is our highest priority. We ask that you are mindful of younger supporters, families and our disabled communities along the route, and considerate of local residents and businesses throughout.
Our parade will also take place the day after our Champions League final screening at Emirates Stadium. We encourage all supporters who do not have a ticket to the screening to avoid gathering around Emirates Stadium that evening as this may significantly impact our preparation for, and ability to deliver, the parade celebrations.

WHAT TO EXPECT
There will be special features across the entire route to make this an unforgettable day for everyone in our Arsenal family.
The parade will feature four open-top buses with our teams and a range of special guests. They will be led by a Champions truck featuring DJs at the front of the procession.
The lead bus will be for our Premier League champions, followed by our men’s team staff, then our women’s team with the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.
The final bus will be a celebration of our community with supporters joining us from Arsenal in the Community programmes, as well as a selection of Arsenal staff members nominated by their peers for their outstanding contribution to our club.
All of the buses will move continually along the route. Wherever you choose to stand, you will have a similar experience to the rest of the route. We encourage supporters to spread out along the full route so that everyone can enjoy the celebrations safely.
For those unable to make the day, the Champions Live From N5 parade will be streamed live on The Arsenal app, Arsenal.com, YouTube, Facebook and X, where we’ll relive all the highlights of a historic season, take you onto the buses with the players and give you a flavour of the atmosphere on the streets of north London.
THE ROUTE
Emirates Stadium, Drayton Park and the surrounding roads will be closed throughout the parade and will not be accessible to the public.
Supporters are encouraged not to congregate around the stadium area, Hornsey Road, Benwell Road, or Drayton Park as you will not see the teams from these locations.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
Road closures
Due to the parade, Islington Council and Hackney Council will be implementing temporary parking suspensions and road closures across multiple streets in the boroughs. We strongly encourage supporters not to drive to the event.
Road closures are expected to come into effect from approximately 4am on Sunday, May 31 until approximately 8pm, although this may be later depending on what is safe to do at the time.
Our parade map above showcases the route. All roads along this route, including side roads leading to the route, will be subject to temporary closures and parking suspensions. Residents and businesses will see signage with notice of every affected road from May 27 and are advised to check these in advance of the parade.
A full list of affected roads can be found on Islington Council’s website.
Parking
There will be strictly no parking on the parade route and side roads from 4am on Sunday, May 31. If you live on the parade route or on side roads leading to it, you must move your car by this time – any vehicles left will be removed. Signs will be put up in advance on affected roads.
Restrictions will be lifted as soon as possible after the parade, expected to be approximately 8pm, although this may be later depending on what is safe to do at the time.
There will be no parking available at Emirates Stadium.
Public transport
We anticipate large numbers of supporters will travel to the area, so please plan your journey in advance and allow extra time travelling to and from the parade. Some stations close to the route will operate with restrictions, including temporary closures and changes to normal entry and exit arrangements.
Buses: We expect all routes to be extremely busy. There will be a number of road closures in place around the event and a significant number of bus routes will be on diversion in surrounding areas. More information is in our FAQs.
Tube and rail: Some stations near the parade route will be closed, non-stopping or unavailable after the event, with significant queues expected at others. Please see our FAQs for full travel information, including station operations, accessibility and recommended alternative routes.
All supporters should check Transport for London and National Rail Enquiries before travelling and allow more time than usual for their journey.
Find up-to-date travel information by following National Rail Enquiries on X or by downloading the TfL Go app.
KEEPING SAFE
The health and well-being of our supporters and community is our utmost priority throughout our celebration. The parade is being organised and delivered in collaboration with Islington Council and multiple partners, including the police, TFL and other emergency services.
There will be stewards along the route to help manage crowds, provide directions and offer assistance, with barriers and cordons in place to keep people safe.
You may notice an increased police presence in and around Islington on the day, which is normal for an event of this size. Officers will be working with supporters, local businesses and the public throughout to provide a reassuring presence for everyone attending.
This is an outdoor event that will involve standing for long periods with limited shelter available. Check the weather forecast before leaving, wear appropriate clothing and bring plenty of water if it’s a hot day.
If you see or hear anything that doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and let a steward or police officer know straight away. In an emergency, always call 999.
Full information on how to prepare for the day, including details on what is prohibited, can be found in our FAQs.
FIRST AID
There will be first aid points along the route which will be signposted, and there will be stewards along the full route to point these out and offer their assistance.
RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER
This is an historic occasion for supporters of all ages to share. Please be mindful of younger supporters and families along the route, and considerate of local residents and businesses as you arrive and leave.
Please follow the instructions of stewards, event staff and police, who will be across the entire route and can support you with any questions.
We’d ask all those visiting to respect local buildings and homes and not attempt to climb or attach anything to scaffolding, trees, lampposts, statues, railings or other street furniture. Supporters are also reminded that flares, fireworks and pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited and may result in police action.
LEAVING THE EVENT
Our local partners will do everything to disperse crowds and reopen roads following the parade. Please use the appropriate paths and crossing points.
Please also be aware that it may take some time before the local transport network returns to normal and there are likely to be delays to your journey home. Please check the latest travel information before your onward journey. You may wish to walk away from the immediate area before finding an alternative mode of transport to get home.
We will work with Islington Council to ensure the streets are cleaned as soon as possible after the event.
LOCAL BUSINESSES
All local businesses should be prepared for disruption due to the parade and associated road closures.
Further information for local businesses is available from Islington Council’s website.
