Aside from her income as a professional athlete, it’s been revealed that Katie Taylor is making a nice profit outside of the ring.

A property letting firm that the Bray woman owns has reported accumulated profits of almost €1.5million and a cash pile of €570,000.

Accounts filed with the Companies Office show Katie has a healthy balance sheet for her company, KT Sports Limited.

According to The Sun, it’s the fifth consecutive year that KT Sports Limited has recorded annual losses, having reported losses of between €37,724 and €85,019 since 2020.

Prior to this, the firm had accumulated profits of almost €1.8million. The boxer and her sister, Sarah, are listed as directors of the firm.

The news comes after Katie launched her new drink, Fizzique, which she is releasing in collaboration with SiSu. Speaking to EVOKE at the launch, Katie revealed that a move home to Ireland from the States isn’t off the table.

The Bray native currently resides in the US, where her husband, Sean McCavanagh, is from. Sean is quite ‘open to the possibility of moving here’.

Obviously, her heart would be set on a move back to Bray, but there’s somewhere else in the Emerald Isle Sean has his eye on.

‘Yeah, absolutely [I would move home to Ireland]. I’ve spoken to my husband on a few occasions about that,’ Katie told us.

‘He’s definitely open to the possibility of moving here as well. We’ll see what happens in the future, but I love home, I love being surrounded by family, and I just love the Irish way.

‘I love the Irish sense of humour. That’s something I definitely miss about this country. That has been a conversation we’ve talked about, so we’ll see what happens.’

I was basically born and bred in Bray. I love it there. I love my little town, and I have my favourite spots to go to; I know it so well,’ Katie continued.

‘I know the people so well as well. I think Bray would be the place for me. Although we did visit Killarney a few months ago, my husband absolutely loved Killarney.’
