Wednesday Cannon Fodder: time-wasting

Good Wednesday morning, TSFers! In the spirit of the midweek Sporcle quiz, which may make a comeback at some point (although we’ve done most of the good ones), we’ve got a new way to waste time online during the day. Or at night while you’re laying in bed. This little NBA game did the rounds on social media with people posting their results. 82-0.

The game is fairly simple. You have to make an NBA roster. For each position, you’re randomly given a team and a decade. You have to pick a player from that roster and assign them to one of the five positions. Then you spin again to get another team and another decade. Once you’ve filled out your starting lineup, the game does whatever it does on the back end to generate a win-loss record for your lineup. Feel free to share your first / best attempt in the comments.

You can fritter away a lot of time on this one. Much more than you can on Immaculate Grid: Baseball, Immaculate Footy (which is brutally difficult), or Connections: Sports Edition. What brain-workout games are in your rotation? I was pretty consistent with Wordle and Connections for a while but have fallen off the wagon.

And you thought this would be a CF ranting about accusations of Arsenal time-wasting and dispelling the many misconceptions out there with some cold, hard facts.
