Shift Up revealed Stellar Blade: Blood Rain at Summer Game Fest, a full sequel to the hit action adventure that will continue the story, but also bring with it a new protagonist.
That protagonist is Evie, who is on the trail of a bad guy and fighting tons of mutated tentacled people.
There’s not much more to say beyond that, with Shift Up still early in development on the project, but the action looks exceptionally slick, and the graphics are absolutely top tier. This will certainly go down well with fans of the original.
Our Stellar Blade review saw Gamoc say “Stellar Blade is a pretty enjoyable game to swing your hairband sword at, so long as you don’t mind the obvious sexualisation. There’s a few rough areas, but nothing to spoil things overall and there’s plenty of interesting story to uncover as you fight your way through giant monsters with circular saws for heads and weird tentacles for legs.”
