Brandon Brown is running for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Lindsey Graham.
Brown is a business owner and previous served as vice president of multiple HBCUs.
The “Fair Shot Agenda” is the cornerstone of Brown’s campaign, rights he would seek to guarantee by law for South Carolinians. Those include his belief in the right to universal healthcare, expanding early and mail-in voting, strengthening environmental protections, and investing in affordable housing.
Brown supports protecting access to abortion care and contraception.
He has proposed the “Combat Veteran Dignity Act” which would automatically grant combat veterans 100 percent disability compensation at age 65.
