“I do have a friend coming to town this weekend,” she coyly mentioned to Amanda Batula and Katie Arundel during In The City Season 1, Episode 4. “He has tours on the East Coast right now, so he has a show.”

Dustin and Lindsay hung out for the first time together in New York during the June 9 episode — grabbing drinks before Lindsay introduced him to her friends.

“Good looking guy!” Andrea Denver commented as he met the country singer, before trying to force Lindsay and Dustin to define their relationship. “Just a friend? I mean, I don’t want to put you right on the spot,” he added. Dustin replied, “Think you just did,” as he and Lindsay refused to answer.

Later, Yvonne Najor asked Dustin, “So, are you guys having fun together?”

Dustin admitted the visit was going well, and revealed he was already making plans to return. “So fun. When there’s a window I’m not touring, I’ll come back,” he shared. “I’m a nerd — a science nerd — so I wanna go see all the super cool museums.”

Lindsay Hubbard reveals when she first met and began dating Dustin Lynch

Lindsay revealed during the June 9 episode that she has a connection to Dustin that predates her broken engagement to Summer House’s Carl Radke.

“What is crazy is that Dustin was supposed to perform at my wedding to Carl,” she shared, but clarified, “So, I never met him until after Carl and I broke up.”

After Carl and Lindsay called off their engagement, Lindsay was linked to a mystery “country singer” in November 2023.

“Well, you know, let’s just say we have bros in different area codes,” Lindsay told Andy Cohen of the rumors, during her Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen appearance at that time.

Dustin later addressed his rumored relationship with Lindsay during an interview with Us Weekly during the CMA Fest in Nashville in June 2024. “We’re great friends,” he told the outlet. “I’m so pumped she’s got a house here [in Nashville] now that’s doing great. She’s making some new friends here in town.”

During the June 9 episode, Lindsay opened up about their first encounter. “I went to his concert. Met him at his tailgate. And then a month later, we went on a date,” she explained.

Fast forward to 2025, and Lindsay added, “I did go on a date with Dustin back in June. I happened to be in Nashville. We went out. Had the best time.”

Dustin admitted that meet-up with Lindsay was the last time he “went out in Nashville.”

“I go out for a living, you know what I mean?” he told her. “People, and loud noises, and partying, is not what I want to do when I’m home.” He added, “Unless my little devil comes to town,” jokingly clarifying he was referring to Lindsay.

Lindsay Hubbard details her romantic life with Dustin Lynch

Lindsay has been an open book about her desire to get her sex life back on track after her break-up with Turner Kefe, the father of her daughter Gemma. During the June 9 episode, she admitted she had her sights set on Dustin.

“Historically, when I’ve been single, I’ve had a roster. Just because I’m a mom doesn’t mean I can’t have a roster now. I went on one date with Frank and I’m certainly not putting all my milk cartons in his crate,” she confessed to producers. “I’m gonna keep myself open for the hot, country music star who I might or might not have a history with.” She exclaimed, “C’mon! What I want is fun!”

She opened up about what held her back during her first date with Dustin, and what’s changed.

“I just wasn’t mentally or physically ready at that point, to have sex,” she explained, then added, “But, I feel in a good place now…I’m attracted to Dustin. The chemistry’s there. I don’t know, is it just me or is the universe putting Dustin in New York like for a reason?”

After Dustin’s visit, Lindsay reported back to Yvonne, Georgina Ferzli and Lexi Sundin about what happened.

“I mean, we’re friends. We’re friends who make out at the end of the night,” Lindsay revealed. She added she invited him back to her apartment for a drink, but admitted it stopped with a kiss.

“No one’s dropping their panties for me! Frank! Dustin! I’m like ughhhh,” she sighed. “Ten months. Two makeouts.”

Still, Lindsay admitted that she was happy about her relationship with Dustin. “I mean, listen, I’ve only seen him like a handful of times throughout the years, but that’s what I love about him,” she told her friends. “Dustin is so light and airy and easy, and this is what I’ve been saying. I can’t handle anything serious right now.”
