In the 11 months that they’ve been dating, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have been all over the world. They’ve dined in Montreal, gone to a sumo-wrestling show in Tokyo, and danced to Justin Bieber at Coachella. On Monday night, they took their relationship to both a new level and a new location: a red carpet in New York City.
The couple went carpet official at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Perry’s new concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour — Live From Paris. Did you know that Perry was releasing a concert film of her latest tour? I did not, but according to her, it’ll be in theaters “late summer.” One person who is very excited about it is Trudeau, who told Entertainment Tonight that he couldn’t wait to see the movie. “I saw the show three times but wasn’t really paying attention to anything but Katy,” the former prime minister said. “So I’m looking forward to seeing the show now for the first time.”
