Kidnapping alert goes out for teen with developmental disabilities in New Orleans

A 17-year-old with developmental disabilities was allegedly kidnapped and last seen in the Plum Village area of New Orleans East, officials said Thursday morning.
A Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory, or a Bryan’s Call alert, was sent to residents for Trenton Reeves at around 6:12 a.m. Police are investigating his disappearance as a simple kidnapping, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The New Orleans Police Department requested Louisiana State Police issued a Bryan’s Call at about 1:32 a.m.
He was last seen Wednesday at about 10:07 p.m. at the residence of his caregiver in the 4500 block of Eastview Drive. Reeves was approaching his caregiver’s car with the caregiver’s adult son, Tommie Mango. The caregiver exited her home to find that both Mango and Reeves were missing along with her car.
The car is a brown Mercedes-Benz ML3 with Louisiana license plate CB01607. Reeves was described as white, with brown hair and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and black shoes. He is 5 feet 6 inches and weighs approximately 145 pounds, according to officials He was diagnosed with a developmental disability, is non-verbal and requires medication.
Mango is Black with brown eyes and black hair. He is 6 foot 1 inch and weighs approximately 170 pounds, according to Louisiana State Police.
