What channel is Brewers vs Phillies on tonight? Time, TV, streaming

Pat Murphy is bullish on Brewers’ latest extension recipient Luis Lara

Brewers prospect Luis Lara, a favorite of manager Pat Murphy’s in recent spring training, has signed a long-term contract extension with the Brewers.

The Milwaukee Brewers are back home after enduring all the craziness at Las Vegas Ballpark as they begin a three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday, June 12 at American Family Field.

The return home should be a welcomed sight for Brewers pitchers, who are coming off a series against the Athletics in Las Vegas in which they surrendered 15 home runs in three games. In fact, the A’s scored all of their runs in winning the final two games of the series via the long ball.

The Phillies series features the two starting pitchers who are the early frontrunners for the National League Cy Young award in the Brewers’ Jacob Misiorowski and the Phillies’ Cristopher Sánchez.

Sánchez edged The Miz out for NL pitcher of the month in May in one of the memorable races ever for the honor by posting a 4-0 record with a 0.00 ERA in 39 innings with just three walks and 45 strikeouts while allowing just a .181 batting average. He had a run of 50⅔ scoreless innings end on June 3 against the San Diego Padres.

Misiorowski went 5-0 with an 0.23 ERA in 38⅓ innings with six walks and 57 strikeouts with opposing batters hitting just .109 in May.

Unfortunately, the two won’t square off this weekend as The Miz is schedule to pitch in the series opener on Friday, June 12 while Sánchez is slated to face Brewers starter Kyle Harrison in the series finale on Sunday, June 14.

Here’s how to watch the Brewers’ series against the Phillies:
