Strictly Come Dancing professional Carlos Gu has addressed the rumours of a rift between him and Nancy Xu

Strictly professional Carlos Gu has addressed the rumours of a falling out with fellow dancer Nancy Xu, after the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The speculation was further fuelled when Carlos seemingly left Nancy out of an Instagram post celebrating their Beyonce-inspired performance during the show’s Icons Week last season.
Carlos has since spoken to the Mail, admitting there has been a disagreement between him and Nancy.
However, he reassured fans that they would repair their friendship in due course. “We’re fine,” he said.
“We’ve been friends since childhood, and friends argue, we’re too close and are like brother and sister to completely fall out.”, reports Birmingham Live.
Carlos hinted at the recent difficulties in a reflective Instagram post about the challenging past weeks on Strictly.
Dressed as Claudia Winkleman for the show’s Halloween edition, he said: “It has been a hectic [few] weeks for me! ! But HEY let’s give a moment for this! I love you @claudiawinkle.”

Claudia responded: “Love you very much and deeply. Thank you for being one of the special souls that I can call friend and baby brother. [kiss emojis] Having the best day, as I know. WE WILL MAKE IT AS IT SHOULD.”
Carlos expressed his appreciation, replying: “Thank you my favourite sister.”
This comes amid reports that professional dancers Kai and Nadiya have been avoiding one another behind the scenes.
The duo parted ways prior to the commencement of this year’s BBC dance competition, having previously found romance on the programme.
An insider told the Sun that the pair were determined to maintain their distance whilst filming.
They said: “They refuse to be near each other at all on set- but there’s not much room up there with all the professionals. They just have to do their best to avoid each other every weekend.”
