Los Angeles Rams vs Jacksonville Jaguars preview
The final London game of 2025 features a pair of teams with 4-2 records as the Rams taken on annual London hosts the Jaguars at Wembley.
The Jaguars have won their last two games at the north London venue and are worth backing on the handicap to give the Rams a real test despite suffering a disappointing home defeat to the LA team’s NFC West rivals the Seahawks last week.
The Jags recorded a fantastic upset win over the Chiefs before that and are having a much better campaign in their first season for head coach Liam Coen. They are running the ball well with Travis Etienne averaging 5.3 yards per attempt. The Rams have made a strong start too but they didn’t face much of a challenge last week when beating an injury-ravaged Ravens team.
LA quarterback Matthew Stafford is playing well but he will be without his star wide receiver Puka Nacua due to an ankle injury.
The Rams are looking to complete a set after beating Jacksonville’s AFC South colleagues the Texans, Titans and Colts already, but the Jaguars’ experience of playing in London could be a valuable advantage and they are worth backing as underdogs.
The first two London games this season have been low-scoring but going over the points line looks the better bet this week. In Week Five, the Rams conceded 26 points to a 49ers offence led by back-up QB Mac Jones, who threw for 342 yards, so the inconsistent Trevor Lawrence could have one of his better days.
Rams QB Matthew Stafford is going strong with 12 touchdown passes and only two interceptions this year and can play his part in an entertaining game at Wembley.
