Gayle King Meets Jesse Watters In Surprising Location

And, of course, a selfie was involved.

King posted a photo of herself on Instagram with Fox News host Jesse Watters, who, by some strange coincidence, was her seat partner on a recent flight.

“Two TV people from competing networks walk on to a plane and to the surprise of them both, they’re seated right next to each other for over four hours,” she wrote in the post’s caption. “How did it go? Speaking for @jessewatters here: A good time was had by all! Hi, Jesse…saving your number!

It was certainly a friendlier situation than the time in March 2019, when Watters criticized King for an interview that was actually done by “Good Morning America” co-host Robin Roberts. He apologized for the mix-up.

However, people commenting on the post had a variety of reactions, ranging from “I love when we can disagree and maintain civility and respect” to “It was so fun to sit next to my new friend who promotes misogyny and racism for a living.”

Another person shared, “You are a better woman than me! I would have asked to move or take the next flight!”

Others had thoughts when the post was shared on other social media platforms.

They make‘your mom’jokes.
