A man was killed on a busy Virginia highway this week after running into the road while fleeing immigration agents, officials said.
Virginia State Police said a man was hit by a pickup truck on Interstate 264 eastbound at the Military Highway interchange in Norfolk on Thursday, adding that the man was declared dead at the scene. The police identified the man as Jose Castro-Rivera, a 24-year-old from Honduras.
