2026 March for Life rally in downtown Indianapolis
The below-freezing temperatures outside didn’t deter people from participating in the annual Indiana March for Life rally on Jan. 22, 2026.
The annual event gathers Hoosiers of all ages downtown for a chance to worship and share their belief that abortion should end everywhere.
The rally often closes downtown streets as marchers make their way from West Georgia Street and South Capitol Avenue to in front of the statehouse. The event usually last 90 minutes with speakers, chants and gospel music.
The rally is organized and hosted by Right to Life Indianapolis.
The Hoosier state has often made national headlines on the topic of abortion, especially as lawmakers debated where they would stand on the issue and passed legislation in 2022 that created a near-total abortion ban.
