How about some Louisville basketball the night before Thanksgiving?

Pat Kelsey’s No. 5 Cardinals (6-0) face NJIT (3-4) today at the KFC Yum! Center to close a stretch of two games in three days.

UofL is coming off an 87-46 win over Eastern Michigan on Monday, during which it led for more than 35 minutes and by as many as 41 points. It was a balanced scoring night for the Cards, who got 49 from their starting lineup and 38 off the bench.

Led by third-year coach Grant Billmeier, NJIT as of Tuesday had the lowest adjusted efficiency ranking on KenPom.com of any opponent remaining on Louisville’s 2025-26 schedule: 347th out of 365 Division I teams. The Highlanders fell 94-67 at Cincinnati on Monday and are projected to finish the season with a 12-19 record.

Here’s what you need to know to follow today’s game from home:

UofL and NJIT are scheduled to tip off at 9 p.m. today inside the Yum! Center.

Betting odds: Louisville is a 43 ½-point favorite (-105) on DraftKings, which set the over/under at 155 ½ points (-108 / -112). 

Score predictions: KenPom gives the Cards a 99.9% chance of winning and projects a 96-60 final score in their favor. BartTorvik.com is also forecasting a UofL victory (99%), with a projected final score of 100-62.

The game between the Cards and the Highlanders will air on the ACC Network, which is channel 610 on AT&T U-Verse; channel 612 on DirecTV; channel 402 on Dish; and channels 524 and 937 on Spectrum. Cooper Boardman (play-by-play) and Randolph Childress (analyst) will be on the call.
