A boy has been injured after an incident close to a college.
Police said “an assault with injury” had taken place in Kings Road, close to Reading College, and that armed police are in the area.
Reading College said it was in lockdown earlier on Thursday.
“We advise members of the public to avoid the area at this time while officers work swiftly to resolve the situation,” a TVP spokesperson said.
