Crews on scene of fire with heavy smoke in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD (WBFF) — Crews are on the scene of a fire with heavy smoke in Remington.
Fire crews responded to the area of 23rd Street and Hampden Road in Remington around 1:30 p.m.
Baltimore Fire Department said they are working to contain the flames in the 400 block of W. 23rd Street, and have asked people to avoid the area.
The Maryland Transit Administration announced a temporary southbound detour for the LocalLink 94 bus to Fort McHenry until 5 p.m.
There is no word on the extent of any damage or if any injuries have been suffered.
