TrickyImps!: “Wonder if House and Street on the wing might be canned? It worked against Luton and Posh as a tactical plan, but it just didn’t click into gear against Exeter.
Also, not sure if our long throw will be as potent against their back line – they’ve got some big buggers.
Wickens
Darikwa – Jackson – Bradley – Reach
McGrandles – Bayliss
Obikwu – Draper – Hackett
Collins
I don’t think that will be the XI, but there you go.
Either way, 1-0 win!”
PerthImp: “You just know this is going to be Exeter all over again – hard, physical, fill the box and block everything, time-waste at every opportunity. Let’s hope the ref is on the ball and doesn’t fall for their tricks and sh**-housery. We definitely need to score early if possible to try and bring them out – a second goal for us would be even better. If we haven’t scored by HT, they will hold fast and look to sneak something, exactly as Exeter did. Let’s hope our lads are a bit more clinical than last time and put their chances away. A strong bench as well so we can change things up, but please let’s not leave it too late – players need time to get into a game against teams like this.”
