Week 12 is going to be a biggie in ‘bama.
On Saturday, Nov. 15, John Mateer’s No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners visit Ty Simpson’s No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide at the Bryant-Denny Stadium for a huge matchup with CFP implications.
The 8-1 Crimson Tide are riding an eight-game win streak and coming off a 20-9 victory over the reeling LSU Tigers. In that contest, Simpson completed 21 of 35 passes for 277 yards and a touchdown. Still, head coach Kalen DeBoer claimed he “really feel(s) there are things [the team] need(s) to continue to get better at.”

Brent Venables’ 7-2 Sooners had a strong showing in week 11 where they took down No. 21 Tennessee by a score of 33-27. However, even with that impressive victory in the books, the squad isn’t favored to win against Alabama; according to BetMGM Sportsbook, the Crimson Tide are projected to win by 6.5 points.
Whether they can pull off an upset on the road at the rowdy “Saban Field” is yet to be seen.
