New ‘Reacher’ Season 4 Update Hints at Release Window

Reacher fans, take a deep breath… because Season 4 has officially wrapped filming, and the latest update strongly suggests when we’ll see the big guy back on Prime Video. The news surfaced thanks to a production team member who posted a celebratory message:

“Looks like Reacher Season 4 has officially wrapped! It’s been a long run. Great work to all the cast and crew. Thank you so much Alan… Looking forward to Reacher Season 4 based on Lee Child’s 13th Jack Reacher book Gone Tomorrow.”

With cameras now off and post-production up next, all signs point to a 2026 release window—very likely the first half of the year given the show’s tight turnaround schedule in past seasons.

What’s Season 4 of ‘Reacher’ About?

Season 4 adapts Lee Child’s 13th Reacher novel, Gone Tomorrow, which drops the ex–military cop into a nightmare scenario after a routine 2 A.M. subway ride goes violently sideways. This time the action is centered in Philadelphia, where production began in June—and where Alan Ritchson unexpectedly ran into former President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden while filming. Ritchson also shared a behind-the-scenes look at the season’s escalating brutality: a “Get Cracked in Philadelphia” Liberty Bell T-shirt progressively drenched in blood. According to him, Season 4 features:

“The best fight ever on Reacher — and that’s saying something, ’cause every fight prior this season felt the same way.”

So… expect chaos. Big, bone-crunching chaos. Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette steps into the role of small-town cop Jacob Merrick, taking over for Jay Baruchel, while Sydelle Noel joins the season as Philadelphia PD Detective Tamara Green alongside Kevin Corrigan as her partner, Detective Docherty. Agnez Mo plays Lila Hoth, a young Indonesian woman searching for her American biological father, with Anggun portraying her mother, Amisha Hoth. Kevin Weisman appears as a Washington, D.C. journalist keeping tabs on a suspected CIA black site, and Marc Blucas takes on the role of U.S. Congressman John Samson, with Kathleen Robertson starring as his wife, Elsbeth Samson.

Season 4 continues Prime Video’s efficient production pattern: Amazon renewed the show for Season 4 before Season 3 had even premiered. However, this time, we also have Maria Sten‘s spin-off Neagley due for release before Season 4 of Reacher. In the meantime, Reacher Seasons 1 to 3 are streaming on Prime Video. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
